Through May 31st, 2020 construction is underway for the Pismo Parking Restoration. Guests staying in the north wing of the hotel may expect noise from 7am – 6pm, Monday – Saturday, and partially obstructed views due to construction.

Somerset Grill is offering a limited menu daily from 7:00am – 8:00pm. Select breakfast, lunch, dinner and beverage items are available for ‘knock & drop’ delivery to in-house guests or ‘to go’ service.

  • Is the beach open?
    Yes! Pismo Beach is open for exercise for a maximum of one hour.
  • Is the pool open?
    The pool will be open on a limited basis. It is open to hotel guests by reservation only for 1-hour time slots. Reservations for the pool must be made in person at the hotel for the day of.
  • Are you offering room service?
    Yes! We currently offer “Knock-and-drop” room service delivery.
  • May I check in early?
    Although we would like to honor early check-in requests, we are required to allow guest rooms to rest for a minimum of three hours after check-out due to COVID concerns. For that reason, we cannot guarantee early check in requests.
  • May I have an upgrade?
    Due to increased occupancy, upgrades are limited. Should you prefer a specific room type, we recommend you reserve that room type to guarantee availability.
  • Do I have to wear a mask inside the hotel?
    Per the CA State Governor’s order as of June 18, 2020, we request that all guests wear masks while inside and outside any common areas of the hotel.
  • Can I plan a group event at the hotel?

    Absolutely! There are several local rental companies offering a variety of beach equipment for your enjoyment.

    Your stay will be comfortable with in-room Wi-Fi, refrigerator, and coffee makers. Other amenities are available by request.
  • Is your outdoor patio open for eating and lounging?
    Our outdoor patio is available relaxation for hotel guests while social distancing.
  • Can I use your outdoor firepits?
    Our firepits are available for in-house guests.
  • Do I have to wear a mask inside the hotel?

    We are welcoming the public to join us for take-out or patio seating options.
  • Where can I park to visit Somerset Grill?
    Valet parking is available at the hotel for a maximum of 2 hours.
  • Are you offering room service?
    Our guests can enjoy Knock-and-drop room service for breakfast, lunch, or dinner.
  • What are the restaurant hours?
    Open for Breakfast daily from 7am-11am (take-out or patio seating)
    All Day menu available 11am-8/9pm (take-out from the bar)
    Dinner Sunday-Thursday from 5pm-8pm (take-out or patio seating)
    Dinner Wednesday and Thursday 5pm-8pm (patio seating)

  • Is your dining room open?
    As of September 23, 2020, we have re-opened our indoor dining room at 25% capacity, following State & County regulations.
  • Are you accepting reservations?
    We are not accepting reservations at this time, only walk-ins.
  • Do you have a limit on party size?
    At this time, we are limiting table seating to 6 people per party to ensure proper social distancing.
  • Are you still offering take out?
    Our take-out menu is available for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
  • Is your bar open?
    Somerset Bar is offering a limited selection of alcoholic beverages to accompany your take-out meal.
  • What other restaurants are open for dine-in?
    There are several restaurants within walking distance that offer take-out options. Dine-in options are not available at this time.

PISMO BEACH AREA

    Hiking, biking, kayaking, and golf are just a few of the fun activities available in Pismo Beach.
  • Can I rent beach equipment?
    Absolutely! There are several local rental companies offering a variety of beach equipment for your enjoyment.
  • Are the Dunes open?
    The Oceano Dunes SVRA is currently closed for all recreational activity (camping, public & off-road vehicle use) until October 2020. Public pedestrian access is still open.
  • What other restaurants are open for dine-in?
    There are several restaurants within walking distance that offer dine-in or take-out options.
  • Can I have a bonfire on the nearby beaches?
    At this time bonfires are not permitted on local beaches.
  • Is the Pismo Preserve open?
    Yes, for limited days and hours. Currently the preserve is open for enjoyment on weekdays from 4pm – Dusk.
